Open enrollment
Medicare
October 15 – December 7
Medicare’s annual open enrollment period is your opportunity to review your current coverage and make changes for the coming year.
One of the biggest decisions is whether to choose Traditional Medicare or a Medicare Advantage plan. Each option works differently and has different costs, coverage and provider considerations.
The Washington State Hospital Association has put together a helpful guide explaining the key differences between the two options.
Cascade Medical cannot recommend which Medicare plan you should choose. We encourage you to talk with a trusted third-party Medicare advisor who can review your individual coverage needs and help you determine which option may make the most sense for you.
Individual & family health insurance
November 1 – January 15
If you purchase your own health insurance through Washington Healthplanfinder, open enrollment is your opportunity to review your coverage and choose a plan for the coming year.
Medicaid
