I recently joined the team at Cascade Medical, and it already feels like the kind of place I want to be. The Upper Valley is a special community, and Cascade reflects that in the way people lead, care for each other, and stay committed to doing the right thing for patients.
My path into healthcare started young. As a teenager, I helped care for my cousin Byron while he was going through treatment for a rare form of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. That experience shaped a lot of who I am. It taught me that healthcare is about more than medicine. It’s about showing up for people during some of the hardest moments of their lives with compassion, honesty, and hope.
Over the past 25+ years, I’ve worked in hospitals, integrated health systems, and community health organizations in roles from pharmacist to COO. I enjoy solving complicated problems, building strong teams, improving access to care, and helping organizations stay connected to the communities they serve.
I take the work seriously, but I also think people need joy at work. I’m known for showing up in costume now and then just to make people smile. At the end of the day, I believe healthcare works best when it’s both high-performing and deeply human.
