Cary Ecker

Cary Ecker comes to the Cascade Medical Board of Commissioners with significant professional experience living at the crossroads of finance and healthcare, all while drawing the best out of the people he works with. 

Cary said his reasons for seeking appointment to the board are personal: “When my Dad was still around and he had some health concerns later in his life, he made decisions of where to live based upon where the nearest hospital was. And I thought, if he was like that, there must be several people within our community that feel the same way. Effective healthcare facilities are essential for healthy communities.” 

Cary holds a Master’s in Finance from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Law from Portland State University. He also is an active community volunteer leader with Washington Association of Sewer and Water Districts, and have previous volunteer experience with Kahler Glen Community Association, Kahler Glen Athletic Club, and Make-a-Wish, among others. 

Cary offers demonstrated leadership in educating and training others to achieve standards of excellence, as well as success identifying and resolving operational challenges resulting in strategic opportunities. 

A lifelong devotee of the outdoors, Cary and his wife Regina love living in the Lake Wenatchee area and taking advantage of all the natural beauty our region has to offer.
