Are you looking to enter into the healthcare field? Would you like to get paid while learning on the job?
Cascade Medical may have the program just for you.
This fall, we are kicking off our annual Medical Assistant Apprentice Program. You get paid to earn your certification and start your career! Training is 100% paid for by Cascade Medical – a $4850.00 value.
Here’s how it works:
- You will complete 2000 hours of on-the-job training with the support and guidance of a Medical Assistant coach.
- You will also complete 10 hours/week of supplemental coursework through and attend 3 in-person lab days throughout the year (coursework and lab days are unpaid and must be done on apprentice’s own time.)
- After completion of all on-the-job and supplemental coursework, and hours have been verified by the Apprenticeship Committee, they will then be able to take the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant test offered through the National Health Career Association. Upon passing, they can than apply to the WA Department of Health to receive their Medical Assistant (MA-C) credential, valid anywhere in Washington State.
