Chronic Pain Self-Management Class

Chronic Pain Self Management is a free, six-week workshop that will help you take control of your pain, rather than letting it control you. People who experience chronic pain, their friends, family members or caregivers are welcome to join. Space is limited to 16, registration is required. Classes will be held 2-4 p.m. every Thursday, May 4-June 8, in the Arleen Blackburn room.

Learn how to:

  • Deal with fatigue, isolation and poor sleep
  • Exercise safely
  • Work more effectively with healthcare providers
  • Use medications safely

The class is provided by Community Choice Health & Education Institute, and sponsored by Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington. The Living Well Self-management workshop was developed at Stanford University and has become the proven leader in self-management for people with chronic health conditions.
