Kendra grew up in our beautiful upper valley, is a Cascade HS alumni, and is excited to begin working at Cascade Medical, starting March 25. Kendra’s past education includes a BS in Psychology from the University of Washington and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound. She arrives with 15+ years of physical therapy experience, mainly outpatient orthopedics, including a rigorous orthopedic and manual therapy residency program which helped her earn board certification as an Orthopedic Specialist. Kendra also contributes experience in sub-acute skilled nursing, which will serve hospital patients in Cascade Medical’s swing bed rehab program. She will be a quality asset to our rehabilitation team.

Kendra is passionate about treating many general orthopedic conditions including injury recovery or prevention, work related injuries, post-surgical conditions, athletes, peri and post-partum, oncology-related conditions, and balance/fall prevention utilizing evidence-based PT treatment featuring a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional activities tailored to the patient’s deficits and unique goals. She enjoys getting to know her patients through active and respectful listening in order to motivate and empower them to reach their functional, recreational, or occupational goals.

Outside of physical therapy, Kendra enjoys playing with her young daughter, camping and “Jeeping” with her husband, running, exercising on her Peloton bike, gardening, and has past experience playing many years of recreational soccer and participating in sprint distance triathlons. She is also a huge fan of Dave Matthews Band!
