Jessica Kendall
Jessica Kendall comes to the Cascade Medical Board with a wealth of public health experience. She holds a Master’s in Public Health from Portland State University and a B.A. from the University of Southern Maine, and is the owner of a local business, Cascade Crest Consulting.
Kendall is a long-time community organizer with an in-depth knowledge of how consumers interact with the health system. She has worked on local, state, and national campaigns to improve the health of communities. She is currently contracted with the Oregon Health Authority, working on strategy and outreach to connect Oregonians with vaccine for COVID-19. She’s leading Oregon’s ground game efforts to reach Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities across the state in collaboration with multiple teams within the Oregon Health Authority and designing strategies to address vaccine confidence and connect communities to community driven vaccination events.
Believing strongly in collaboration and the importance of partnerships, for the last two decades she has focused her work on identifying best practices and lessons learned in outreach and capacity building, and sharing those lessons with others at the national, state, and local level.
Kendall lives in Leavenworth with her husband, Colin, and their family.
