Cascade Medical patients have a new option for parking, just in time for festival season. The parking lot at the corner of 9th and Commercial streets is now available exclusively for patients, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays.
The patient parking area features 15 parking spots, including two ADA spaces, and a covered walkway to give patients a safe, direct path to the main entrance without crossing the street.
Last month, Cascade Medical moved staff parking to a newly-paved parking lot across Commercial Street, between Louie’s Café and Gingerbread Factory. Several staff members also volunteered to park off-site to allow better access for patients.
“The goal is to give our patients a positive experience every time they come in, from the first moment they arrive,” said Pat Songer, Chief of Operations at Cascade Medical. “With more convenient parking, our patients can walk in relaxed and on-time for their appointments.”
Patients can also find parking in these areas:
- The parking lot near the emergency department entrance
- Dedicated street parking along 8th Street, across from the Posthotel
- A 1-hour spot near the main entrance, and two patient-only spots on Commercial Street
- A bike rack is also available near the main entrance
