Upper Valley MEND Free Clinic: 6:30-8 p.m. Mondays, except holidays, at Cascade Medical. Provides free, urgent medical care. Dental consultations are available the first Monday of the month. No appointment is necessary. Patients will be seen on a first come, first serve basis. For more information, call (509) 548-0408.
Upper Valley Free Nurse Community Clinic: 4-6 p.m. every last Thursday of the month, The Pantry, 12447 Chapel Drive in Plain. Terri Weiss, RN, of Upper Valley MEND will provide assessment and triage of non-emergent medical, dental and behavioral health conditions. For more information, call (509) 548-0408.
Parkinson's Support Group: Meets 11 a.m. every second Tuesday, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 10170 Titus Road, Leavenworth
Prostate Cancer Awareness and Support Group: Meets 8:30 a.m. every second Wednesday, Kristall's Restaurant, 280 Highway 2, Leavenworth.
Adult Social Walking Program: 7-9 a.m. Monday through Thursday during winter months, Leavenworth Festhalle, 1001 Front Street. Free indoor walking opportunity for adults. Enter through the Front Street side door.
Senior workout group: 10 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Leavenworth Senior Center. A 45-minute group class led by Cascade Medical's Rehab Services team. Includes gentle stretching, strengthening and balance activities to help improve your overall well-being. $15 one-time registration fee, must have physician's permission to participate. A free dropbox for unused medication is located in our main admitting lobby at 817 Commercial Street in Leavenworth.
