With a history as old as Leavenworth itself, Cascade Medical Center has grown to exceed the ever-changing needs of our once rural community and has become a recognized leader in healthcare.
Our newly expanded and modernized acute care hospital features state-of-the-art equipment in a peaceful setting. With seven private rooms, we offer quality care close to home for our community's recovery, treatment, and rehabilitation needs.
As a fully accredited Critical Access Hospital, our acute care nursing and physician team provides exceptional care for your acute illness. Backed by a complete medical center, we screen, evaluate and provide treatment of acute needs as assisted by our on-site lab, radiology and rehabilitation departments.
Staffed 24-hours a day, our hospital operates with an all-licensed staff of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Our team is equipped with a wide variety of skills, and routinely provides care for medical, surgical, and pediatric patients.
As a short stay program, we also offer our Rehab Care Program (also referred to as "Swing bed") for patients who no longer need to be in an acute hospital setting, but are not ready to care for themselves at home or their next level of residence. This program allows our permanent and part-time residents who have recently experienced an acute hospitalization or surgery to return to our comfortable facility for nursing and rehabilitation for an extended period of time.
